Donnacha Cahill

Donnacha is an experienced, professional artist from Athenry, County Galway who works mainly in steel and bronze. His art practice revolves around observations and his pieces aim to spark the imagination and create conversation. Donnacha creates both private commissions and large-scale public work. He is known for his large mobile sculpture ‘The Gramophone’ which has appeared at numerous festivals throughout Ireland and the UK. His work is in private collections across the globe. Donnacha describes himself as a storyteller and believes a good piece of art should inspire or tell a story.
