Neal Greig

In my work I aim to create a painterly dialogue. This is primarily a three way creative engagement between myself ,the location and the painting. The conversation enters a flow whereby I am modelling the pigment, pushing, scraping, scrubbing, splattering and responding to the elemental. 

 I like making in beautiful places. However I try to avoid the picturesque, preferring getting to grips with nature, biodiversity, the weather and the passing of time. –  Neal Greig
